A peer mentor’s Wix site rebuilt as sixteen screens, audited by measurement rather than by eye, and launched on his own domain.

A speaker and ADHD peer mentor with a homemade Wix site that had grown a page at a time. Rebuilt as sixteen screens on one narrative spine, with a safeguarding layer that is not decoration, and every fix in the final pass measured rather than eyeballed. Launched today, so there are no traffic figures. Everything here is measured, not projected.

Prior to working with Will, our website was very basic. It was a homemade Wix website, and Will has come in and completely redeveloped our website and our brand, and has been extremely professional, been in regular contact and delivered exactly what we asked him. Fantastic website. Thanks, Will.

What Andy had

  • A Wix site with eleven live pages and twelve items in the navigation. In his recorded review he calls it “very basic”.
  • A head teacher on a phone could not tell in five seconds what Andy does, who for, or what it costs.
  • A link to /blog-posts in the main navigation that returned a 404.
  • A clothing shop with sixteen products, below the fold on a home page also trying to introduce Andy, explain ADHD science and sell four services.
  • On phones, the hero quote was rendering white on white. Contrast 1:1. Nobody had reported it because nobody could see it.

What launched

  • Sixteen screens on one spine: understand the problem, see the services, meet the person, read the evidence, book a call.
  • Four services, priced, each with its own route to the same booking form.
  • The peer-mentor-not-clinician disclaimer in seventeen places, verbatim, never tightened for tone. Crisis numbers on every screen.
  • Three words scanned for before any build ships and required to return zero: therapist, counselling, guarantee.
  • The hero quote at 15.6:1. No horizontal overflow and no tap target under 44px at any of twelve widths from 360 to 1920.
  • All eleven indexed Wix addresses redirected, three of them deliberately temporary until Andy decides what happens to those pages.

Delivered

  • Sixteen screens designed, written from Andy’s own documents and recordings, and built as a hand-written static site
  • A safeguarding layer: the disclaimer, crisis numbers, the age constraint on the addiction talk wherever it is listed, DBS and insurance on request
  • A measured audit across twelve viewport widths that turned “you can see the problems” into a list, and found three defects no one had reported
  • One selector specificity collision found and fixed that had silently reset nine text styles to body copy
  • An enquiry form that reaches Andy’s inbox with the enquirer as reply-to, spam-gated without a CAPTCHA, processed inside the UK and EEA
  • Domain released from Wix, certificate issued, and a redirect map for every indexed address
  • A faster form backend declined, because its data sat outside the UK and EEA and would have made the privacy policy untrue

Still open, and why

  • No traffic or enquiry figures yet. The site launched on 28 September 2026.
  • Written permission for the remaining testimonials.
